When it comes to buying a great pair of snow shoes, you want to ...

How to walk on snow

If you feel just as comfortable running on top snow as you do running on top the sidewalk, then you'll need a pair of snow shoes, which will enable you to do the next best thing to walking on water. There are a number of manufacturers out there that provide snow shoes, so you'll at least have some selection when it comes to making a purchase.

When it comes to buying a great pair of snow shoes, you want to consider floatation, which refers to your being able to run on top of the snow as opposed to through the snow. Different brands will provide different levels of floatation. And while no brand will provide 100 percent floatation, the best brands will at least provide sufficient floatation, particularly if they were designed for professional runners who need to be able to stay on top of the snow as much as possible.
